Star Defender 5 is a space shooter game, similar to games like Galaga, Space Invaders, and Star Wars. Join the Star Defender fleet to combat the hordes of aliens wishing to take over our planet. You have control of a powerful space ship with unlimited lasers and you are able to upgrade your ship's armor shields in order to survive the many levels of this game. Introduction: Planet Earth is under attack from alien invaders who are here for one thing - our gold, diamond or any precious minerals that cannot be found in their own solar system. Don't let them take all the gold! Fight to the end and destroy their ships. First Level : Your task is to destroy all hostile asteroids in this large, open area with obstacles in the form of mines, death circles, laser beams and shields. Second Level : The space battle continues in this multi-leveled level where you will have to fight your way past many enemy spaceships and their various weapons systems. Third Level : Again, multi-leveled with many enemy spaceships flying around you. You need to avoid their weapons by destroying these deadly alien spaceships before they do damage to you or worse still destroy your ship. Fourth Level: A deadly and difficult level that requires you to use all your skills and powers to destroy the enemy spaceships. Once they're gone, the level will end and you'll progress to the next mission. Fifth Level: Again, a multi-layered level with many enemies trying to shoot you down with their weapons systems. Keep moving up and down so as not to get hit by their fire power. Sixth Level: This is a battle against time as you try to prevent your solar system from being destroyed by the alien invasion force. Destroy all the enemy ships before the time limit expires. Seventh Level: A tough level where you are faced with many enemy spaceships trying their best to kill you. Stay alert and shoot all but one of the enemy ships - DO NOT destroy this ship, or you will fail your mission! Eighth Level: This is a tricky level where again, you are battling against time. There is one more planet in your solar system left to destroy, so fly fast and destroy it before it's too late! Ninth Level: Again tricky flying levels to complete. Fly around shooting down the last enemy spaceships until none are left to fly around in this solar system. Once the level is complete, you're the winner. Tenth Level: This level is another battle against time where you've got to destroy all enemy spaceships before time runs out or you lose the game. Fly around and shoot down as many as you can. Don't let them get away! Eleventh Level: This is a tricky level where there are no enemies above or below you - only your ship. You've got to avoid hitting anything that's moving around on screen, otherwise it'll mean instant death for you (and game over!).
